Youth Community Action Teams (YCATs) are groups working to prevent dating violence and abuse in their local communities. By working closely with staff at a local certified domestic violence center, young people get support to make their communities safer and healthier for everyone.
Each YCAT is different, but they all have in common the support of the local certified domestic violence center and the mission of preventing dating violence.
Joining the YCAT in your area can be a great way to meet new people who want to prevent violence. It’s also an opportunity to amplify your voice and ideas. YCATs can take action to make changes in their local communities.
